Common questions

Answers before you start

Do I need an account?

You can explore every product and company page without one. To run a real scout and keep your work — saved locations, projects, and collections — you create a free account.

How does Scout find locations?

You describe the shoot in plain words. Scout reads that into real requirements — place type, look, light, access, and city — and returns actual, named locations grounded to real addresses, not generated imagery.

Can I start from an image?

Yes. With Visual Intelligence you can upload a photo, film frame, or mood board, and ScoutHalo reads its look and finds real locations that share it. It works from the qualities of the image, not from where it was taken.

How are results ranked?

Each location is scored on how well it actually fits your brief — look, light, access, and the constraints you named. Requirements act as filters, not tiebreakers, and Scout returns an honest count rather than padding a short list.

Can I save locations into projects or collections?

Yes. Save any result to your library, group saved locations into reusable Collections, and add them to a Project to compare candidates and reach an approved decision. Each location keeps its scout read as it moves.

How reliable is production intelligence?

Every read is tagged for confidence — observed, estimated, or verify locally. Judgment never impersonates evidence: what can’t be known stays marked unknown. Treat it as decision support, not a replacement for an on-site technical scout.

How do I contact support?
