How does Scout find locations?
You describe the shoot in plain words, and Scout reads that brief into its real requirements — place type, look, light, access, and city. It then retrieves actual, named locations that match, each grounded to a real address you can look up. These are places that exist, not generated or imagined imagery.
Can I search using a reference image?
Yes. Drop a reference frame and Scout reads its light, composition, and mood to draft a brief for you, then searches for real locations that share that visual language. It works from the qualities of the image — it does not identify where the photo itself was taken.
How are locations ranked?
Each candidate is scored on how well it actually fits your brief — look, light, access, and the constraints you named — so the strongest rise to the top. Requirements you state act as filters, not tiebreakers. Scout returns an honest count rather than padding a short list to look fuller.
How reliable is the production intelligence?
Every read is tagged for how sure Scout is: high where it’s observed, medium where it’s a fair estimate, and verify locally where you should confirm it on the ground. Judgment never impersonates evidence — what a photo can’t answer stays marked unknown rather than guessed. Treat it as decision support to plan from, not a replacement for an on-site technical scout.
Can I move results into a project or collection?
Yes. Save any result to your library, group saved locations into reusable Collections, and add them to a Project to compare candidates and move toward an approved primary. Each location keeps its scout read as it travels, so nothing has to be re-researched later.
