Terms of Service

The terms for using ScoutHalo, kept short and readable.

Last updated July 2026

Who can use ScoutHalo

You need to be old enough to enter a binding agreement where you live (at least 18, or the age of majority). By using ScoutHalo, you agree to these terms and to our Acceptable Use Policy.

Your account

Keep your account credentials secure — you’re responsible for activity that happens under your account. Let us know if you notice anything unauthorized.

Acceptable use

What you can and can’t do with ScoutHalo is set out in our Acceptable Use Policy. In short: use it for lawful production and scouting work, and don’t misuse, overload, or disrupt the service.

Plans and payment

ScoutHalo may offer free and paid plans. If you subscribe to a paid plan, the price, billing period, and what’s included are shown before you pay. Fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise, and we’ll give reasonable notice before any material price change.

Your content

You keep ownership of the prompts, images, notes, and other content you put into ScoutHalo. You grant us the limited permission needed to operate the product — to process your inputs, return results, and store your saved work. You’re responsible for having the rights to whatever you upload.

Scouting results and AI

ScoutHalo uses AI and third-party data to produce Scout Reports and location suggestions. These are informational aids to speed up planning — details such as permits, access, filming rules, ownership, and timing can be incomplete, change, or be wrong, and are not guarantees.

Always confirm the specifics locally — with the venue, property owner, or relevant authority — before you shoot or commit resources.

Our intellectual property

ScoutHalo — including the software, design, and brand — belongs to us. These terms don’t give you any right to our name, logo, or product beyond using it as intended.

Availability

ScoutHalo is early and provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. It’s an evolving product: features may change, and we can’t promise uninterrupted availability.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, ScoutHalo isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make in reliance on scouting results. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.

Ending your access

You can stop using ScoutHalo at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy are broken, or where we’re required to for legal or security reasons.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which ScoutHalo operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and any disputes will be handled by the courts of that jurisdiction — except where local consumer law gives you rights that apply regardless.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as ScoutHalo develops. When we make a material change, we’ll update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know. Continuing to use ScoutHalo means you accept the current terms.
